Definitely some gratitude today for being able to enjoy having lunch at the beach. Not only was lunch good, but it was great to enjoy the sunshine, light breeze and the outlook across the beach and the ocean.

Time at the beach can be quite therapeutic. I was fortunate to grow up with a backyard that accessed to a beach in a small cove. Definitely more gratitude there. The beach was my childhood playground. It could have different moods, and even in wild weather, it was a fun playground.

The beach can also be a great place to have some “time out”, and to “meditate”.

Today it was a pleasant backdrop to a casual lunch, and a quite relaxing interlude to the day.

I give Gratitude for the opportunity to visit and enjoy the local beaches.

In Gratitude.

The leaves in the trees are glittering with the reflections of the sun, and the treetops are moving lightly in the breeze. The temperature is warm and comfortable, and the breeze gentle and caressing.

There are many native birds twittering in the trees, calling to each other.

My Himalayan cat is stretched on the deck enjoying the sun, with the two little dogs nearby, also enjoying the sunshine.

There are just a couple of light, fluffy, white, clouds floating across the sky.

Yes, it is a glorious day – a day to be grateful for.

In Gratitude,
